PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Relieves pain and itching of the external auditory canal - Supports the treatment of ear infections - Preservative free

Artelac Otic ear drops are a medical technology product, the action of which is based on the osmotic properties of glycerol. Glycerol has two main characteristics regarding its use in ear drops:

a. the fatty composition of glycerol, which makes it adhere gently to the skin at the point of application and is responsible for its protective properties.

b. the hygroscopicity of glycerol, which gives it the ability, when applied locally, to remove water from edematous tissues resulting in the reduction of swelling and pain relief.

Lidocaine is used as a local anesthetic adjuvant, which enhances the action and additionally soothes the pain in the ear.

Dosage: Adults and children over 12 years: 2 drops in each ear up to three times a day. Children older than 6 months: 2 drops in each ear up to three times a day.
