PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Flamigel is a hydroactive colloid gel dressing. Flamigel covers and protects the wound. Flamigel manages the micro-environment of the wound. Flamigel is used on non-extensive, dry or exuding wounds which occasionally heal by secondary intent:

Superficial burns and grazes
Postoperative wounds
Pressure sores
Ulcers

Properties: Flamigel contains an acid polymer. This polymer creates on the wound an acid environment. A dry wound absorbs the water contained in Flamigel and promotes the lysis (dissolution) of necrotic tissue and scabs. Flamigel starts absorbing exudate from the wound, maintaining the wound in a moist environment. Flamigel has a cooling effect. Flamigel can easily be removed without pain.
