Sympathetic Treatment of Constipation in Children

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Powder for oral solution, for the symptomatic treatment of constipation in children. Promotes peristalsis, facilitating adequate bowel emptying to treat constipation and prevent fecal impaction. Macrogol is an inert water-soluble polymer with a high molecular weight. It has the ability to create bonds with the water used during intake, which it also retains within the feces. It enhances rehydration and softens the stool, facilitating defecation. Accelerates intestinal transit, stimulating peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the intestine. It does not disturb the balance of electrolytes as long as it is swallowed with the appropriate dose of liquid.
