O Zinc is an ingredient in more than two hundred enzymes. It plays an important role in the development and functioning of the reproductive system and the integrity of the skin. It also helps in the efficient functioning of the senses of taste and smell and protects the liver. It is necessary for proper healing and effective functioning of the immune system. One tablet provides: Elemental Zinc 50mg. High doses of zinc can adversely affect the levels of copper (and vice versa). While the scientific views on the ideal ratio of copper-zinc divided, for prolonged periods of use the 1:10 ratio of 1:7.5 and copper to zinc is probably necessary. Caution: Not to be taken by people with digestive disorders or ulcers without security the treating physician.
