The ProBiotix of Quest contains a unique combination L.bulgaricus and L.acidophilus, which is "friendly" probiotic lactic acid bacteria normally present in the human intestine. The combination L.bulgaricus and L.acidophilus according to studies may help restore gut flora disrupted by taking antibiotics and reduce the symptoms associated with antibiotics, such as diarrhea. Probiotics in ProBiotix help maintain an ideal ratio of probiotic bacteria in the intestine and contribute to the health and proper functioning of the bowel and the body's defenses protect against growth of pathogenic microorganisms in the gut.
