The standardized extract of the fruit 150mg Milk Thistle (thistle) of Quest delivers 105mg silymarin, which is the recognized active ingredient of this traditionally used herb. The fruit extract of the herb Milk Thistle is considered to provide antioxidant protection and detoxification in the liver and reduce symptoms associated with disorders of the liver, spleen and gall bladder. It also has effective activity against the symptoms associated with liver cirrhosis due to alcohol consumption and is effective in treating stones in the bile (gallstones).
