Magnesium bisglycinate (=magnesium bound to 2 molecules of the amino acid glycine) is a chelated form of magnesium with increased absorption and bioavailability. In addition, it is the form of magnesium with the lowest likelihood of causing gastrointestinal disturbances (gentle magnesium). Finally, the ability of magnesium bisglycinate to enter the Central Nervous System in increased quantities makes it the recommended form of magnesium for people seeking magnesium for sleep, anxiety and physical fatigue.
