Indications: upper respiratory tract infections: pharyngitis, tracheifaryngitides, ear infections, sinusitis, tonsillitis, runny nose, common cold - seasonal viral infections, allergic reactions, infections, skin and soft tissue: purulent acne, infectious dermatitis, skin ulcers, bacterial infections, urinary tract infections, oral cavity , vaginal infections.
Actions: strengthens the immune system and preserve the balance. This action occurs through the following mechanisms: Enhances phagocytosis of polymorphonuclear cells. It enhances the synthesis aminoglovoulinis. Exhibits antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action in upper respiratory tract infections such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, ear infections, sinusitis, stomatitis. It helps to treat skin diseases such as purulent acne, dermatitis, difficult to heal ulcers. Exhibits strong antioxidant protection.
The Extrammune can be used as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy with antibiotics (which enhances the action) when the infection warrants it.
Dosage: Adults: The usual dosage is 1 tablet 2 times a day. In chronic or persistent infections, the dosage adjusted to 1 tablet 3 times a day. For prophylaxis of influenza receive 1 tablet daily for one to two weeks. Recommended to take Extrammune be continued for a week after the resolution of symptoms.
