Vitiligo - Skin Discolorations
Indications: Vitiligo - pigmentation disorders, inflammatory dermatoses, acquired white skin patches
Actions: Boosts the metabolic functions of the liver associated with the toxic byproducts of the body that destroy the melanocytes, promoting the removal. It strengthens the immune system itself toward self-destruction of melanocytes. It promotes the production and transfer of melanin to the upper layers of the skin where appropriate. It has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, healing and allergic effects, particularly beneficial in inflammatory skin diseases. Relieves itching, watery discharge and the burning sensation.
Dosage: Initially, the cover around the affected area with petroleum jelly. Then apply the ointment on the affected area. Expose the morning sun evenly for 5 minutes the first time each day and gradually increase exposure time to the end of the second week to have completed 20 consecutive minutes daily exposure. In some cases may occur irritation or blisters. The application of the ointment, however, should not be interrupted. You can mix the ointment with vaseline. If the irritation is particularly intense or persistent, consult your doctor.
Side Effects - Interactions: There has been no side effects or interactions with other medicines. Safe and prolonged use. It is recommended that treatment be combined with a light diet free of heavy, sour or spicy meals and fruits, which continued until 3 months after its expiry. Not recommended for children under 5 and adults over 60 years.
