Irritable Bowel Syndrome - Colitis
The Colilen IBS is indicated for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome which is characterized by pain, bloating, distension and abdominal pain, with or without variation of the form of stool and irregular bowel function (constipation, diarrhea or alternation of both). Because of the protective mechanism, the Colilen IBS gradually reduces intestinal disorders, and, depending on the severity of the disorder, it is recommended to extend the treatment for 2 to 6 weeks and the replay of a potential relapse by the appearance of the first symptoms.
The Colilen IBS capsules acts thanks to a molecular complex with ActiMucin patent, consisting of resins, polysaccharides and polyphenols. The ActiMucin, through a mechanical-physical type mechanism, interacts with the surface of the intestinal mucosa to form a protective film that protects the mucosa from contact with irritants.
Dosage: We recommend taking two capsules three times a day away or before meals. The IBS Colilen may also be used in combination with other symptomatic therapies in the acute phases of the disorder.
