Zeraderm Scar Gel is a silicone product consisting of high molecular weight polysiloxane (100%). Zeraderm Scar Gel is distributed ίn tubes of 15 grams. Non-sterile. Οn exposure to air, Zeraderm Scar Gel forms an invisible membrane that is air permeable and water repelling. Indications: Zeraderm Scar Gel is specially formulated for the managemenl οf keloids, hypertrophic (thick) scars and associated erythema (redness) resulting from thermal (temperature burns), surgical (postoperative) or traumatic (e.g. following an accident) insults to the skin. For the prevention of (hypertrophic) scars, Zeraderm Scar Gel can be applied immediately afler removal of the slitches. Caution: Avoid contact of Zeraderm Scar Gel with the eyes, nose, or mouth. Exercise caution when using Zeraderm Scar Gel on newly healed tissue. Do not use on open wounds, infected areas, or unhealed tissue. There are no documented side effects resulting from Zeraderm Scar Gel use while pregnant or breastleeding. Furthermore, there are no documented restrictions when using Zeraderm Scar Gel in combination with any other device or treatment. Νο specific precaulions are necessary in the sun.
